Urban Living Tour Sept. 16

Holliday Development, AIA East Bay, Oakland Magazine, Clear Channel, Pulte Homes Mechanics Bank, and the San Francisco and East Bay Bicycle Coalitions invite you to join us for the Urban Living Tour, benefiting REBUILDING TOGETHER OAKLAND and their mission of creating safe and comfortable housing for those in need. The first annual URBAN LIVING TOUR will take place on Sunday, September 16th from 11am - 5pm.

Discover the East Bay's hidden gems on this educational adventure featuring nearly a dozen eclectic and unique urban living environments. Experience creative contemporary workplace and dwelling designs spanning the spectrum from innovative industrial warehouse conversions to lovingly rehabilitated Victorians. Each tour stop presents a distinctive study in urban architecture, with an emphasis on the lifestyles of urbanites who work and dwell within.

The journey begins at Oakland's Historic Train Station in West Oakland, the terminus of the Trans Continental Railroad . Ticket holders will receive a tour map providing a route for driving or cycling at leisure to each private entry on the tour. From the train station, weave through the diverse and rich mosaic of the East Bay on a lovely autumn afternoon. All proceeds benefit Rebuilding Together Oakland. Join the tour for a good cause and a fascinating experience. Tickets are $20/ $30 at the door.
