From AIA's Committees on the Environment and Design:
"A recent article in ArchNewsNow features the upcoming COD/COTE conference and ideas competition. Read the complete article by Kyle Copas in the latest issue of ArchNewsNow here.
The Architecture of Sustainability conference coming up May 4–7, cosponsored by the AIA Committee on Design (COD) and Committee on the Environment (COTE), promises to open new forms of dialogue on design excellence and environmental innovation and marks an unprecedented collaboration between the two committees. “The combination creates a perfect synergy,” remarks Greg Mella, AIA, LEED, one of the conference cochairs and a COTE representative. “Sustainability enriches design just as much as design enriches sustainability.”
