Zero Energy Homes


David Edwards, PhD founder and owner of Earth Bound Homes and Randy Potter, Vice President of Earth Bound Homes will discuss Zero Energy/Zero Carbon Homes, a case study of two LEED Platinum Bay Area Projects. Earth Bound Homes is a Silicon Valley based custom home builder specializing in zero energy homes that are the highest LEED and Green Point Rated homes ever built. In addition to holding a Master and PhD in biochemistry from UCSD, David Edwards is a LEED -AP , Certified Green Builing Professional (CGBP), member of the USGBC, a Green Point Rater (GPR) and a HERS rater (Home Energy Rating Services). David is widely recognized as the local authority on green building and presents regularly for the AIA, USGBC and many other Bay Area based non-profits and environmental organizations.

Randy Potter is Vice President of Earth Bound Homes. Randy holds an MBA in Finance, a BS in Marketing and has over 10 years of experience in the Real Estate and Real Estate Development Industries. He is a member of the US Green Building Council, Build it Green and is a Certified Green Building Professional.
