LUNCHTIME WATERCOLOR

Join Robert Becker for a fast and painless introduction to some basic techniques in watercolor. Knowledge of watercolor is not necessary for this workshop. The goal of this workshop is to give a quick overview of using watercolor for quick presentations and personal use. Watercolor is unparalleled in breathing life into an image. Not only the domain of a perspective drawing, watercolor can give the simplest plan, elevation or even a cocktail napkin sketch warmth and atmosphere.

ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED!

This workshop will give you an easy way to try watercolor without pressure. The exercises will be done on top of your own drawings. By photocopying your own images directly onto watercolor paper, Robert will demonstrate on one copy as you try the technique on another copy at the same time. Each person will have a great hands-on experience. The group will be led through a series of exercises demonstrating the basic watercolor washes on the appropriate areas of your own drawings. Discussions about materials, techniques, and style will accompany the painting experience.
