We are currently in an environment where we have many similar and sometimes competing definitions of what is "Green" and what constitutes energy efficiency. We will discuss how these various steps are related and how to fit them into an integrated process of planning, design and engineering, field, testing, and commissioning, to create buildings that perform not just on paper, but in the real world--specifically addressing the following: Title 24, LEED-h, Green Points, Energy Star Home, HVAC Design, Insulation, Building Envelope, Duct Leakage and Design, HERS Verification, Performance Testing, commissioning, local generation (PV, Thermal), and State and Federal rebates.

Presenter Matt Golden, Sustainable Spaces Founder and President
Prior to founding Sustainable Spaces, Matt worked as an Energy Consultant at Sun Power and Geothermal Energy helping homeowners and businesses develop solar power systems. Matt developed the concept for Sustainable Spaces to meet this market demand by providing a single full service resource and a brand homeowners can trust to help them improve the comfort.
