Call for Submissions: Extreme Houses

My name is Joanne Azern and I work for a tv production company in New York City called KPI. We are currently producing a new 13 part series for HGTV called "Extreme Building" focusing on unique houses with extreme construction or engineering challenges. Each episode is 30 minutes long and will feature two houses per episode. We have already filmed about half of the series and are still looking for residences to complete the line-up. We have been profiling the work of some of the most pioneering, innovative and cutting edge architects in the country. Each house that is featured is unusual and unique not only in its design but also in its engineering and construction. So for example we have featured a house that rotates, another sculpted from steel, and one that is sandwiched between boulders.

I was wondering if you knew of any houses in California that may be good candidates for our series? The houses must be completed. The uniqueness may come from the site, design, shape, or materials used.
