The Emerging Professionals Forum focuses on "Finding the Right Fit" this month. This roundtable discussion is free and all are welcome. You need not be an emerging professional (student, intern, or young architect) to attend--after all, many of us are looking for the right job, right now.
This roundtable discussion will address:
searching for any job vs. the right job for you;
unpaid internships and odd compensation packages;
the pros and cons of taking "just any job";
how to make a luke-warm job offer better;
non-compensation issues to consider when interviewing firms;
red flags and how to respond to them;
resources for the job seeker and where to find
We'll have some handouts with resources so please RSVP so we have copies for all.
