This program will go over the requirements found in Chapter 11A for multi-family dwelling projects in California under the 2007 California Building Code (CBC). Included in this discussion will be how the CBC does not comply with the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and how this differs with compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Other related subjects will be accessible means of egress, common use facilities, townhouses and carriage houses. This will be a 2-hour program with time for questions and answers.
