The Civil Rights to Equal Access: an ADA primer for Architects

Dawn Anderson, AIA of As it Stands, will present a 90-minute program covering all five titles of the ADA. Attendees will understand: the history leading up to the American Civil Right of equal access; subsections of the ADA that directly affect the built environment and architectural design; mandate of ADAAG and the oversight and enforcement of the ADA in federal departments; understand the risks of NOT considering access in design ~ litigation, errors and omissions.
