Dry Architecture: Design and Selection of Below Grade Waterproofing

Join the AIA East Bay's Women in Architecture Thursday, April 10th at 6:00pm as Veronica Martin, AIA, Principal at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates presents “Dry Architecture: Design and Selection of Below Grade Waterproofing.”

Come hear Ms. Martin give an overview of forensic architecture and some common waterproofing design problems many architects encounter, as well as an in-depth look at the critical issue of below-grade waterproofing.

Ms. Martin is an Architect specializing in the remediation of water intrusion problems in existing and historic structures and waterproofing design for new buildings. Her projects often require coordinating a complex mix of issues, including code issues, design review, materials durability, and phasing of construction during occupancy.
