Bay Area SMACNA is offering two programs on September 22:
The SMACNA Architectural Sheet Metal Manual
and
The Top Ten Ways to Prevent Major Screw-Ups in Construction Projects.
They'll be at the Westing San Francisco Airport from Noon-5:30, with a reception and dinner to follow. I've read the announcement over multiple times, and it appears this event is completely free of charge, including dinner.
