Deeper Green: The Next Step to Specifying Sustainable Materials

The CSI East Bay/ Oakland Chapter in conjunction with Northern California Chapter USGBC is presenting a special half-day course on Friday March 20 at the AIA East Bay. The course will include specific tools for researching and evaluating green materials, locating regional sources and incorporating sustainability in project specifications that stick. You will also learn sources of information for sustainable design, and get an in-depth presentation of lessons learned from case studies of projects going for LEED certification. Attendees with some experience in sustainable design/construction and familiarity with the USGBC LEED programs will find the seminar most useful.

Presented by Larry Strain, FAIA, LEED - AP with Seigel and Strain Architects and William Buchholz, AIA, CCS, SCIP, LEED - AP.

This course will be certified by both AIA and CSI for 4 CES/Lus and AIA members recieve a discount.
