The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) will select an Executive Architect for the programming, design, construction drawings, bid and construction phase services for the Automated Laboratories renovations located at our two Medical Centers (Hillcrest and Thornton). The total construction cost is estimated to be $1,100,000 to 1,500,000 (excluding equipment) at CCCI 4978. The Executive Architect will also be responsible for the preparation of a Master Plan for the UCSD Medical Center Laboratory Services to the year 2017. In addition, the Executive Architect may also be involved in subsequent follow-on projects to implement the Master Plan.
