"Building and Renovating Museums" Workshop

The Western Museums Association invites you to attend a day long workshop entitled “Building and Renovating Museums” taking place at the De Young Museum. This workshop is a day-long exploration of the process for designing, building and renovating, and financing museums.

The workshop auditorium at the De Young allows for a larger audience than the museum professionals that will be attending this preconference workshop as part of the WMA Annual Meeting in Oakland “Shake it Up: Museums Activate and Innovate” October 10-14, taking place at the Oakland Marriott City Center.

The fee to attend the workshop is $125 ($75 workshop + $50 one day registration for members of WMA – this is extended to AIA members) and includes lunch.
Time: 8:45 am – 4:30 pm (motorcoach transportation is available/included from the Oakland Marriott leaving at 8:00 am.
