February 16 - Public Workshop on Regional Climate Change Strategy. The Joint Policy Committee, including the Association of Bay Area Governments, Bay Area Air Quality Management District and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, is developing initiatives which the Bay Area can undertake collectively as a region to deal with climate change and global warming. To receive ideas from the public and stakeholders, the Joint Policy Committee is holding a workship on Friday, February 16 from 9:00 am to noon in the auditorium of the MetroCenter, 101 8th Street in Oakland.
