Building Forward: Steinberg, Calthorpe 11/13

Please join the Home Builders Association of Northern California, Bay Area Council, Silicon Valley Leadership Group, San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR) and the California Alliance for Jobs for Building Forward, a conference on SB 375, land use legislation authored by Senate President-Elect Darrell Steinberg and recently signed into law by Governor Schwarzenegger. SB 375 is the first law in the nation to tie billions of dollars in federal and state transportation funds to plans to shorten commutes, build sustainable communities and reduce global warming.

Senate President-Elect Darrell Steinberg will deliver the morning keynote address and Peter Calthorpe will close the conference.
