Steinberg on Steinberg


From 6-7 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2012, architect Robert Steinberg, FAIA will discuss the legacy of Goodwin (“Goody”) Steinberg, as part of the Neutra House Architecture Speaker Series. The lecture is at the Los Altos Community Center, 97 Hillview Avenue, Los Altos. CEUs will be reported by AIA Santa Clara Valley

During his 50-year career, Goody designed homes, corporate campuses, public buildings, and houses of worship. Notable examples include homes in Los Altos Hills, the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce and the Los Altos History Museum, Congregation Beth Am in Los Altos Hills, and the Tech Museum in San Jose. Tickets are $20 general; $10 students.

Several rental possibilities are available in our brick and timber renovated building at the corner of Telegraph and Hawthorne Avenues, Oakland.

All rentals include use of large kitchen, private conference room, bathrooms, Canon color copier, large-format copier, and plan file storage.  Utilities are included and one free parking space is available (other parking is available at $100/space).
